Mcgregor vs Poirier 3
Well

One week to go
Can Conor drag it out of himself for one last fight. I really hope so. I like confidence meaning victories. Leave humble behind.

I give a fuck.

For a novice viewer like me, UFC usually far more interesting and exciting to watch than boxing.
McGregor is a great athlete and an even better entertainer. Hope he destroys Poirier.

If it was down to adjustment then Conor would have it. If it down to thirst at moment then Dennnis wins

Re: Mcgregor vs Poirier 3
Last fight and big paycheck for Connor (unless he fights Logan Paul)

He hasn't been an elite fighter since 2016 and his last fight against Poirier showed how far he has deteriorated. He's also a lot quieter in press conferences now and his sky high confidence is gone.

Re: Mcgregor vs Poirier 3
I've been watching the UFC since the days of Matt Hughes, Randy Couture and Chuck Liddell, and even know I know McGregor has been good for the sport in terms of brining in new fans, I can't stand the bloke and the only desire I've had in watching any of his fights was his fight against Khabib as I knew he'd get well and truly WALLOPED.

Re: Mcgregor vs Poirier 3
I think Poirier wins comfortably. I’d imagine it’s very difficult to improve at elite level being inactive although macgregor won’t have cut any corners. Thought the documentary on him was brilliant.

Re: Mcgregor vs Poirier 3
On form, Poirier obviously wins. But UFC doesn't respect form.
Poirier was on the up before the second fight, Conor on the down, but that's not what won it for Poirier. He had a brilliant fight plan and Conor/ his team completely failed to adapt to it. Poirier went after the calf early, knowing if Conor shows a lot more weaknesses when he's not on the front foot (pun intended), and it worked brilliantly.
I'd like to see one last hurrah for Conor. He might not be the sport anymore but he made that business.

These sports, boxing another, the only ones where if you lose you win because you get several other chances to win even if you lose again !

Pathetic

Yes I'm talking about you Chisora and Whyte

Both eternal losers

You mean like every sport?

LeroysBoots 10:30 Mon Jul 5
Re: Mcgregor vs Poirier 3
Nope, talking about how they continually get shots at the big fights despite losing

Other sports if you lose you go to back of queue or get relegated !!

We get 2 chances to beat every team in the Premier league every season. We get 38 games to win the league every season, we get a chance to win the Cup every season.
I think you have described every sport there
